Back from holiday, no visitors for a while and following a killer takeaway curry that saw me having to practically roll myself to bed let alone walk, it’s time to get eating healthily and at least try to stick to a meal plan without shovelling chocolate into my mouth at a rate of knots inbetween! So here’s this weeks meal plan:
Spanish Chicken with rice
Winey Chicken (Nadia Sawalha)
Spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino (my favourite dish I ate all the time in Malta, although I go easy on the olive oil for the sake of the diet!)
Pollo alla pizzaiola with jacket potato and salad (chicken in pizza sauce with melted mozzarella – Gino D’Acampo)
Pork in tarragon sauce
Gammon, chips and egg
I’m also going to have a go at making my own crumpets and English muffins (same ingredients just a slightly different quantity and method) and will knock up some tandoori chicken for salads and sarnies, bacon rosti and some chilli tomato soup too.
