Meal Planning Monday

Welcome back to Meal Planning Monday! I so need to get better at sticking to my meal plans! Last week was almost completely off plan thanks to a few takeaways and a sick toddler thrown into the mix so I’m rehashing last weeks plan with a few other meals thrown in for good measure.

Chicken pasta (no idea what exactly but I have chicken and pasta I’ll just have to come up with some kind of a sauce based on what’s in the cupboards)

Beer can chicken

Spaghetti with fried bread, chilli and garlic – from my new ‘Fabulous Family Food’ recipe book by Nadia Sawalha

Beef  casserole with herb dumplings – another Nadia Sawalha one

Kofta curry

Spicy sausage pasta

Your meal plan sounds great. I especially like the sound of the Beef Casserole.

I’m sure she did. I have two of her other books, although they’re ‘diet food’ related, not that you’d notice and her original ‘Stuffed vineleaves saved my life’ which is brilliant.

Beer can chicken sounds really interesting, casserole and dumplings sounds delicious. Good luck with your plan, hoping to stick to mine too 🙂

The beer can chicken was lovely, really moist. Not quite stuck to the plan this week but way better than the last few weeks so not as bad as usual!
