For the Love of …..Blogs

Another week, another chance to join in with the brand new linky from Mummy Hearts You, ‘For the love of…’. This week it’s the turn of blogs and I have three of my favourites lined up to share.

So without further ado here’s what I’ve enjoyed reading recently:

Katie’s latest post for her ‘The Ordinary Moments’ series is like a breath of fresh air. Famed for her breathtaking photos, amazing travels and wonderful way with words, it’s easy to think she ‘has everything’. Or that her life isn’t without problems and hardships. I guess social media can do that to you. You become hardened to reality almost and can assume the magical moments captured on film are a common occurrence. That amazing opportunities just fall into bloggers or indeed a friend’s lap or that luck has something to do with it, rather than a lot of bloody hard work. I love this post for its honesty and how it’s written. Katie definitely has a way with words as well as photos, both of which draw you into the story or take you to a destination in an instance.

Morgana at Coffee Work Sleep Repeat is responsible for my newfound love of podcasts. Thanks to her weekly #littleloves linky and indeed this great post featuring her current favourite podcasts I’ve found myself really enjoying listening to them as I work. Morgana is my entrepreneurial crush if you will. Not only does she run Little & Fierce, which is a brilliant online accessories store for kids and adults alike, but she’s also a real champion of other small businesses. If you have your own business, or perhaps you’re thinking of starting one, have a read of The Start Up Life. Each month a parent led business interview is featured. And you’re guaranteed to find some brilliant new companies to follow and buy from.

I love Hannah’s blog. If I wasn’t such an oldie now I’d want Hannah’s blog to be my own. She has fabulous clothes, a gorgeous flat, cute kitties, has worked on magazines and now runs a seriously successful blog. This post on how to create great sponsored content is a brilliant one for anyone who hosts sponsored posts, whether you’re just starting out as a blogger or need a few ideas if you’ve lost your blogging mojo.

So there you have it, three fab blog posts I’ve read this week. If you have any favourites feel free to link up in the comments. Or better still join in with the linky over on Mummy Hearts You by clicking on the image below.
