I love the chance to recommend my favourite blogs. And after 8 years of blogging, I’ve definitely read my fair share. So which blogs make it onto my list this time around? Take a look:
I love Suzanne’s blog. I’d been reading her original blog 3 Children and It for years, before she decided to take a step back from blogging. But you can’t keep a good blogger down and Suzanne came back with this fabulous new blog. And I love it even more than the original. It follows Suzanne’s quest to ‘find out if there is life after the school run’. And with a teen of my own, it’s something that is also close to my heart.
It’s a fabulous mix of all things Suzanne. Wonderful posts and photos documenting her holidays, which are enough to turn you green with envy. A fantastic ‘At Home With…’ series, where she goes ‘through the keyhole’ each month at a different bloggers house. Beautiful, heart felt, evocative posts. Along with fab finds and book recommendations.
Kate is another blogger I feel like I’ve been following forever. She’s also a parent to a teen (and an older son), like me, so her blog is again a blog about her life, rather than her children’s, much like Suzanne’s.
If you’re after witty anecdotes, a sharp sense of humour, some pretty amazing travel reviews, hilarious dating stories and thought provoking articles, this is the blog for you. And if you need a little weight loss inspiration, Kate is your girl. Having lost a heck of a lot of weight, she has killer curves that would put even Jessica Rabbit to shame.
Ok so I may have already featured Anna-Marie on one of my #fortheloveof….instagram posts before. But she hosts this linky, so she should get a well-deserved mention. I found her blog through the #littleloves linky, run by Morgana each Friday, and I’ve been an avid reader ever since. You know when you find one of those blogs you actively search out for new posts – this is one of those.
Anna-Marie is funny, down to earth and features a huge array of posts from things she loves (the woman is batshit crazy for flamingos), her family adventures, the cutest puppy in existence, this linky of course, and having and surviving cancer. This post – What Skin Cancer Looks Like, is what convinced me I needed to mention her blog again in this roundup. Reading it is heartbreaking and inspiring in equal measure and it needs to be read by everyone, so give it a click!
