I’ve been hoping to surprise my two with a trip to Disneyland Paris since we moved back to the UK last summer. We live in Kent so we aren’t far from the Eurostar and Eurotunnel stations, so it’s always tempting just to jump on a train for a day trip.
I’d really love to take them at Halloween or Christmas though. The teen is obsessed with all things Halloween and the little dude was born on Christmas Day. How exciting would it be to visit Disneyland when everything is sprinkled with that little bit more fairy dust than usual?
Doesn’t it look magical!?
Here’s what makes it onto our lists of things we are dying to see and do in Disneyland Paris.
Anything Star Wars related will be hugely popular with the little dude. He loves 2 things. Dinosaurs and Star Wars. So in the absence of all things dinosaur at Disneyland Paris, he has been busy watching YouTube videos on his kindle featuring all the latest Star Wars rides, shows and parades. I’m kinda hoping for a cuddle from Chewie myself.
Pirates of the Caribbean
One of the teen’s favourite films is Pirates of the Caribbean. This ride has been on her list of things to do at Disneyland since she last visited with my mum a few years ago and it looks fantastic. Everyone we know who has been tells us this one is a must do.
I went to the Florida equivalent of this show when I was a teen and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere, the horses, the riders, the food. It was just such a fun night. I can’t wait to do this one all over again. This time with my two kids in tow.
Waking Up in Disneyland Paris
The teen has already informed me that if we go to Disneyland Paris we have to return to the hotel she stayed in with my mum. Sequoia Lodge appears to be the perfect place to warm up by the fire at the end of a long day exploring the park. We love swimming too, so the pool with its waterfalls and slide will be a big hit with all of us.
With two animal crazy kids, Rainforest Cafe makes a fabulous spot for a meal. Walking in underneath a huge snake, through an aquarium and into a restaurant filled with animals which come alive as you eat. What could make more a more entertaining meal than that?
Do you have any recommendations or tips for us to put into practice when we get to Disneyland Paris?
