With the little one turning two on Christmas Day who needs an excuse to try out some kids party wear? When it comes to clothes I find it much easier to dress my daughter, well I suppose I have had almost 12 years practice! It would have been so easy to get her a pretty outfit and accessories to show off the F&F kids partywear range but I decided to have a go at styling the little one instead.
And I think I did a pretty good job!
Armed with a £50 voucher – Thanks Tesco! I set about creating the perfect outfit for the little one to wear on his birthday/christmas day that would also see him through any parties he’s invited to when he starts nursery or even for just a nice day out somewhere.
I saw the gorgeous fox jumper and just had to have it. He loves animals and as you can see from one of the photos he’s giving the fox a stroke of approval! It’s from the signature range and is lovely and soft, the fox itself is raised and very fluffy, making it even more special and even at his young age you can tell he likes it. He’s been shouting “fox” every five seconds too so I assume that’s a good sign.
I was going to get a pair of red/purple chinos to go with the jumper but then I saw the navy cargo trousers and thought they went really well with the jumper and could be dressed up or down. I love the little shirt it’s another one from the signature rage and is gorgeous, with a checked lining and roll up sleeves it’s perfect for both summer and winter.
Next up I got him some navy boots to match the outfit. It will of course go with his trainers if it’s a more relaxed look I’m after and luckily the whole outfit goes really well with them as well as the boots. He often “borrows” his big sisters flat cap and that actually looks really cute with the outfit too, albeit a little on the large side for the little loony.
I had a bit of money left over after all that (bargain eh!) so I bought him some Thomas the Tank Engine slippers (you can just about see them in one of the pics) and he loves them. He’s worn them every day since we got them, so I think they’re a huge hit!
So there you have it, I think my first attempt at party wear for the little one has gone pretty well if I do say so myself!
