Meal Planning Monday

meal planning mondayAnother Monday has come around so quickly yet again! It’s another diet friendly week from me I’m afraid, not that you’d notice with some of the meals on my menu to be honest. Oh and for those of you who loved my chicken satay idea last week my lot hated it, only the baby ate it and even then I don’t think he was particularly keen, needless to say i’ll make it for my lunch next time and they can have a boring sarnie instead!

Monday

Toad in the hole

Tuesday

Chicken stuffed with mozarella & jacket potatoes

Wednesday

Roasted vegetable pasta

Thursday

Chicken kebabs and rice

Friday

Moussaka

Saturday

Lamb Rogan Josh

Sunday

Roast

Make sure you head over to At Home With Mrs M for more meal plans this week

I was thinking that too and I hardly ever have lamb these days so I’m overloading on lamb mince in the moussaka and a lamb rogan josh on Saturday – yum! x

I want to steal at least three of those dinners, trouble is I want to make so many things when reading through meal plans. Shame the satay did not go down well. Maybe it is an acquired taste.

We had a chicken satay last week as well, which was tasty and hot chilli wise but not for the kids. A child friendly recipe is the one I need to try next

Love the plan this week – and even though you are on a diet you still need to eat!

Ha ha I fancy a doner but it doesn’t really fit in with trying to be healthy – not that I’m very good at that to be fair!

You have some lovely meals planned. Not all of them will make you slimmer though, but they do sound lovely.

I’ve got “diet” versions of the recipes but tend to make the “proper” versions, have a smaller piece then fill up on veg or salad instead then try not to have seconds!

I was thinking Gammon as a change from chicken but couldn’t get any at the supermarket earlier, might have to treat us to something from the butchers instead
