Another Monday has come around so quickly yet again! It’s another diet friendly week from me I’m afraid, not that you’d notice with some of the meals on my menu to be honest. Oh and for those of you who loved my chicken satay idea last week my lot hated it, only the baby ate it and even then I don’t think he was particularly keen, needless to say i’ll make it for my lunch next time and they can have a boring sarnie instead!
Monday
Toad in the hole
Tuesday
Chicken stuffed with mozarella & jacket potatoes
Wednesday
Roasted vegetable pasta
Thursday
Chicken kebabs and rice
Friday
Moussaka
Saturday
Lamb Rogan Josh
Sunday
Roast
Make sure you head over to At Home With Mrs M for more meal plans this week

Moussaka and mozzarella stuffed chicken sound delicious, they have been missed from my planner for some time! Have a great week, shame about the satay x
I was thinking that too and I hardly ever have lamb these days so I’m overloading on lamb mince in the moussaka and a lamb rogan josh on Saturday – yum! x
Mondays do seem to come along too quickly….lol
Great meals planned…Have a lovely week
You too
I want to steal at least three of those dinners, trouble is I want to make so many things when reading through meal plans. Shame the satay did not go down well. Maybe it is an acquired taste.
Ha ha I’m the same, infact I’m about to plan next weeks meals while going through all of last weeks and this weeks meal plans that were linked up!
We had a chicken satay last week as well, which was tasty and hot chilli wise but not for the kids. A child friendly recipe is the one I need to try next
Love the plan this week – and even though you are on a diet you still need to eat!
BNM
I used this recipe http://allrecipes.com/recipe/chicken-satay/ and the baby ate it so it wasn’t too hot, although I did use sweet chilli sauce instead of hot sauce/tabasco and a korma type curry powder instead of my normal slightly stronger one
Next time you’re having satay can you invite me round please and i’ll eat the rest of the family’s share?
Jane
Of course!
Lovely looking menu, really fancy kebabs now.
Ha ha I fancy a doner but it doesn’t really fit in with trying to be healthy – not that I’m very good at that to be fair!
You have some lovely meals planned. Not all of them will make you slimmer though, but they do sound lovely.
I’ve got “diet” versions of the recipes but tend to make the “proper” versions, have a smaller piece then fill up on veg or salad instead then try not to have seconds!
Sounds Fab, doesn’t sound like diet food either- my kind of diet. Which roast will you be having?
I was thinking Gammon as a change from chicken but couldn’t get any at the supermarket earlier, might have to treat us to something from the butchers instead
These are delicious meals – I had a chicken satay disaster last week too. All Good Food’s fault!
