Meal Planning Monday

meal planning mondayAnother Monday has come around rather quickly! This week it’s making the most of what we have in the fridge/freezer/cupboards while trying to cut down the calories while I’m at it.

Monday

Chicken and broccoli pasta bake

Tuesday

Lasagne

Wednesday

Jacket potatoes with a choice of toppings and salad

Thursday

Tomato soup with cheesy bread

Friday

Sausages, tortilla, bacon, beans etc

Saturday

Stirfry

Sunday

Chicken satay

    Those meals all sound lovely. You’ve reminded me I meant to put chicken satay on the menu this week. Will have to make a last minute adjustment to the plan I think as it would make a really nice change. Hope you have a great week.

      I’m waiting for my daughter and partner to moan at me for putting that and the jacket potatoes on the dinner plan this week but we all eat way too much so it’s my way on cutting down a bit and if they eat enough of it the soup will soon fill them up!

      I haven’t had it for years and quite fancied something different, just need to find a nice recipe for it now!

      That is one huge tortilla! I do love tortilla, I often use it instead of eggs and potatoes in a sort of evening fry up type meal

      I haven’t had it for so long, fancied something a bit different this week though and it can be quite diet friendly too – that is if I manage to resist eating it all!
